A day with Thomas

In mid January we travelled out to Ipswich to the rail museum. Each year they convert all the trains to Thomas and it is little boy heaven!

Fletcher is mildly obsessed with Thomas and his friends. It is the only TV he is interested in, he reads Thomas books all day long and loves playing with a Thomas table that Noah and Luca have lent us.

We met the fat controller, went on a mini train ride and of course saw all the engines. It took Fletcher a little while to realise that the huge engines were Thomas. In his world, Thomas is much smaller than him!

There was a massive room full of Thomas tables. The corner was also set up as a Thomas library. Fletcher plopped himself down on a cushion and decided he was going to read every Thomas book. This was by far the most exciting thing all day for him.

We have a season pass. Thomas doesn't come back until December but there are themed events throughout the year. Stay tuned, there will be many more train photo's to come.
