Growing up

Yesterday after completing grocery shopping F was super interested in the nappy box with Tigger/Pooh etc on it.

He was getting very agitated that I wouldn't open it. I assumed he was after one of the characters and opened it to show him that it only had nappies in it.

What he was after was a nappy ?!? Confused I got him on out of the pack.

He imitiated putting it on so I asked him if he would like his nappy changed.

He promptly walked to the toilet, said "toilet", and opened the door. I got him onto the toilet where he proceeded to do his business. He then "allowed" me to put his nappy on.

He was in a cloth nappy originally and I believe was feeling uncomfortable as it was wet.

We haven't been putting him on the toilet, maybe he is learning at kindy!

Plans were to start toilet training in a month and see how he goes.... looks like he might almost be ready.

Growing Up, it happens so fast!
