Well we all survived..... one year, and didn't the time fly! First things first, a very happy birthday to little Cody and a huge congratulations to her mums! The first birthday celebrations have finally slowed and i have found some time to update.
The Fletcher Festival started on his birthday when he was woken to his mum singing happy birthday with a video camera and a new toy!
It is a Tonka ride on/walker/crane/shape sorter. But most importantly it has a really cool steering wheel that vibrates and beeps!
Fletcher went to kindy to see all his friends. He had a party there with cake (which Nana made). Maree has taken photo's which we will update when we get our hands on them. Thanks Maree!
In the evening, Nana, Papa, Ma and Pa all came around for dinner. He loved opening his presents but wasn't into the birthday cake..... I think it was a little too sweet. Ma looked after this cake, and the adults ate it without any complaints!

On Saturday we had his party at Maccas (of course). We did invite Maree as a guest, however she ended up taking the photo's. Thanks again Maree! Fletcher had a great time playing in the playground, playing pass the parcel and eating fries. He also got spoilt rotten by his family and friends. Thanks to everyone for the great gifts!

The cake was a masterpiece created by Carolyn. It was a number 1 with yellow icing and m and m's in rainbow flag colours (yes, I know there is no indigo). We were very proud of it, and it actually tasted great too!
Saturday night we had friends around for a BBQ. It was lovely that at the end of a big weekend we could chill and hang out with friends...
I will do his 12 month update over the coming week. As I type now Fletcher is napping and I think I might seize the opportunity to do the same. It has been a great weekend and even though he is officially 1 he is still our baby!
